Precedence Set for the Tribulation in the Seventh Millennium
The pattern began in Genesis and continues all the way through Revelation.

After a lot of study, I believe that the precedence or pattern for an ending of one item or event being carried forward to the next was set in Genesis and has been repeated all the way through Revelation.

Allow me to give you the examples I have found first, then I will try and show how they relate to each other (in my opinion).

  1. Genesis 2:2 - There is an indication in this verse of something happening to end creation or bring things to a conclusion and then begin the Sabbath rest.
  2. Christ's first coming - While Christ was born in the fourth millennium, His mission (at that time) was not completed until the beginning of the fifth millennium.
  3. The seventy weeks of Daniel - The first sixty-nine (69) weeks of Daniel were fulfilled during Biblical times; but the seventieth (70th) week is carried forward until the end of days.
  4. In Revelation -
    A) The seventh seal is carried forward and opened in the chapters containing the seven trumpets.
    B) The seventh trumpet is carried forward to the end of the tribulation.
NOTE: For more on these two items, please see supplement #2; which explains the breakdown of the chapters and events in Revelation.
  5. Christ's overall mission related to man - His overall mission was and is to provide the way of salvation, the reconciliation of God and man (through salvation), and to set up an eternal kingdom. The first part was completed with His first coming; but the second part (setting up His kingdom) was carried forward until the time of the end at His second coming.
  6. The 2,300 days of Daniel - While the appearance of fulfillment came in Biblical times, the final desecration and cleansing of the temple is actually carried forward until the end of days.

In my view, some of these items (listed above) don't relate to each other but they do match each other enough to, again, indicate a pattern as follows -

  1. In Genesis 2:2 it shows God ending the work He had made and then resting. Then if we look at the seventh seal (and compare), it is also carried over to the first verse (the beginning) of the chapters about the seven trumpets. We should also note that the opening of this seal is not a judgment but does cause silence in Heaven for an half hour - after which the first trumpet sounds and events continue.
  2. The remainder of the items (other than those associated with the seventh seal) would all match up with the appearance and sounding of the seventh trumpet.
Explanation: In each of these other events (items 2-6, with the exception of #4A, and #2) they each have an initial occurrence in history (the past) but await final fulfillment or completion at the end of things. Similarly, the Angel with the seventh trumpet appears and prepares to sound but does not actually sound the trumpet until the end when the nations and kingdoms of the world become the nations and kingdoms of the Lord. The blowing of this trumpet appears in Revelation chapter 11; but is a flash forward to the end of the tribulation. There are two things that point this out:
    1. At the blowing of the seventh trumpet (as I stated earlier) the kingdoms of the earth become the kingdoms of the Lord.
    2. The vial judgments have not been poured out yet. I believe we all know that the vial judgments of God's wrath will not be poured out on the kingdoms of the Lord.

I hope that you can see that there is indeed a pattern which has been set from the first book of the Bible (Genesis) and continues all the way through until the last book (Revelation). I also hope that this helps everyone to understand that this is not mere speculation on my part - to make this article more believable (etc.).

As I have stated, I've put a great deal of study, thought, and most importantly prayer into all of these things; because I do not take my studies, findings, or conclusions lightly.

With any item that I study, if that item seems to indicate something, then more research should provide more items that support it (proof). If study does not provide that proof then the item or conclusion is faulty and I discard it. I must add that the proof must come from God's word, the Bible. I believe I have found and provided sufficient proof that this is an established pattern and that my conclusions are Biblically sound.
