I'm sure that some may not believe or understand the importance of this number. The number fifty is important and does appear or is used in relation to at least a couple of other items. I wanted to explain this because unless we see the importance of this number we can't fully appreciate the fifty year Sabbatical cycle. The first example here - in all honesty - I came across completely by accident. I'm glad I did though; because it is awesome. To clarify my previous statement, I have to say that it may have been an accident on my part; but I believe it was planned on the Lord's part. Allow me to explain -

Knowing the importance of the number seven in prophecy, I started a list of the items that include seven items or parts. The following is what I found:

7	Days of Creation
7	Feasts
7	Millenniums
7	Years of Tribulation
7	Seals
7	Trumpets
7	Vials
49	Total - The same as the seven cycles of seven years in the Sabbatical cycle (7X7=49).

When all of the items listed above are complete there is only one item left - entering into the eternal kingdom of God - thus giving us the total of 50!! Don't forget that the final year of the 7th millennium marks the beginning of the Jubilee year - the only difference here being it will be for eternity. How's that for perfect timing and something to look forward to - an Eternal Jubilee!! I can't wait!!

There is another item to mention here that has to do with the temple that Moses was instructed to build in Exodus, chapter 26.

The temple was in the form of a large tent and the sections of curtains that were made for the tent were joined together using fifty loops in each section and secured together with fifty "taches" of gold. The covering of the tent was made in the same manner and joined together (again) with fifty loops on each section and secured by fifty "taches" of brass.

This, to me, would indicate the number fifty represents the bringing of things together, thereby completing the work.

The number twenty-one also appears in this temple construction and is of significant importance. Since the number twenty-one relates to other items in prophecy, I will cover it in a separate supplement dealing with numbers in prophecy.

As I said before, this study has brought a lot of things to my attention that I had never seen or been aware of before. I will share all of my findings as quickly as I can.
