"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is
the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in
thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth
unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew

:: One Lie To Bind Them All
RELIGION; n. relij'on. [L. religio, from
religo, to bind anew; re and ligo, to bind. This word
seems originally to have signified an oath or vow to the gods, or the
obligation of such an oath or vow, which was held very sacred by the
Romans.] (Webster's 1828 dictionary)
Religion is not exactly a noncommittal topic. Whereas some people don't
have much to say about some topics of discussion, you will find that the
vast majority have plenty to say concerning their views and/or practices
of their own, - or anyone else's - Religion.
In certain professions (i.e. beautician) where dialogue with the
customer is encouraged, the employees are often instructed to avoid
the topics of religion and politics. Why? Extreme and resolute diversity!
Because of the serious implications of the anticipated end result of
each persons faith, and the hope that they place in that faith as being
the truth about their position in eternity and ultimately a better
existence ... people can get quite "touchy" discussing such matters.
There should be nothing more personal to a person than the final and
ultimate state of their well being. The thoughts of where and how they
will spend eternity should be paramount (unless a person believes that his
physical death is the extent of his existence, in which case his
indulgences will reflect his short term goals).
Numerous wars were fought - and are being fought today - that have a
religious belief system as either their origin of conflict, or as a
catalyst of that conflict. Religion defines entire cultures and races. It
determines, controls and regulates peoples individual and collective
actions. Every society is permeated and influenced by the religious
beliefs of its constituents.
So how in the world do you get the world's religions to say that
different areas of their beliefs are really not that crucial, so as to be
compromised on for the sake of unity under one religious (or worship)
belief?
How is it possible to unite a religion that promotes hatred and
violence toward others outside of their beliefs, with one that is peaceful
and motivated by love, showing genuine concern for all mankind? Or binding
together one religion that indulges the flesh as a form of worship, with
one that denies their body of what they believe are sinful desires? We are
not talking just differences...but opposites (contrary, opposed,
opponents)!
The differences and contrasts between even a handful of religions are
so numerous, that it should be absurd to even entertain the idea of
uniting them together for a common goal, purpose or understanding! And yet
there are multiple endeavors and initiatives with very powerful and
political influences at this very moment pushing feverishly for this very
result.
:: In Their Own Words
Below are just a few of the many religious or politically motivated
groups which are promoting this Ecumenical agenda. Let's see what they
have to say...
The
United Religious Initiative (uri.org)
Bishop Swing: ("Founding Spirit Behind URI") "The time is right
for the people of different faiths to meet..." "There is enormous
harm that can be done on this planet in the name of God," he said...
"If we seek cooperation among religions instead of destruction,
we'll see a whole new world..."
URI Preamble .......... We, people of diverse religions,
spiritual expressions and indigenous traditions throughout the world,
hereby establish the United Religions Initiative to promote enduring,
daily interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence and
to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all
living beings. ... We respect the uniqueness of each tradition, and
differences of practice or belief. ... We value voices that respect
others, and believe that sharing our values and wisdom can lead us to
act for the good of all. ... We believe that our religious, spiritual
lives, rather than dividing us, guide us to build community and respect
for one another. ...
Therefore, as interdependent people rooted in our traditions, we now
unite for the benefit of our Earth community. ... We unite to build
cultures of peace and justice. ... We unite to heal and protect the
Earth. ... We unite to build safe places for conflict resolution,
healing and reconciliation. ... We unite to support freedom of religion
and spiritual expression, and the rights of all individuals and peoples
as set forth in international law. ... We unite in responsible
cooperative action to bring the wisdom and values of our religions,
spiritual expressions and indigenous traditions to bear on the economic,
environmental, political and social challenges facing our Earth
community. ... We unite to provide a global opportunity for
participation by all people, especially by those whose voices are not
often heard. ... We unite to celebrate the joy of blessings and the
light of wisdom in both movement and stillness. ... We unite to use our
combined resources only for nonviolent, compassionate action, to awaken
to our deepest truths, and to manifest love and justice among all life
in our Earth community.
World
Assembly Of Religion & Peace (patriarchate.org)
Address By His Holiness - Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Sixth
World Assembly of Religion and Peace RIVA DEL GARDA, ITALY -
NOVEMBER 4, 1994, 3:00 PM
"Brothers and sisters, the watchword of the Holy Orthodox Church
today is unity. We are learning unity within our own house; we must
pursue unity with all the children of God.
That is why the Ecumenical Patriarchate has established an academic
"dialogue of loving truth" with both Muslims and Jews. We hope to put
behind what is unpleasant while putting forward the best values of
humankind. As leaders, we must stand prophetically, and work for
brotherly and sisterly co-existence among those of different faiths, for
the benefit of all. We must set aside our differences and learn to
"speak the truth in love", as children of the one and true God.
We are committed to peace, and on our pilgrimages, we have taken for
our motto the words of Ephesians 4:3, "Earnestly endeavor to observe the
oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace." We pledge to you
that we will continue to seek unity and peace, to denounce violence and
discredit false prophets; and to act as a bridge of understanding
between the Judeo-Christian West, on the one hand, and the Muslim world
and the Orient, on the other.
But we can only do this if we are united in the spirit of the one
God, "Creator of all things, visible and invisible." Catholic and
Orthodox, Protestant and Jew, Muslim and Hindu, Buddhist and Confucian
-- it is time not only for rapprochement, but even for alliance and
teamwork to help lead our world away from the false prophets of
extremism and intolerance."
Universal Spirituality for Peace (VRI Archives -
UN Millennium World Peace Summit)
Text of Goenkaji's address to the United Nations Millennium World
Peace Summit
"When there is darkness, light is needed. Today, with so much agony
caused by violent conflict, war and bloodshed, the world badly needs
peace and harmony. This is a great challenge for religious and spiritual
leaders. Let us accept this challenge...
Under the aegis of the United Nations, let us try to formulate a
definition of religion and spirituality highlighting non-violence, and
refusing to countenance violence or killing. There would be no greater
misfortune for humanity than a failure to define religion as synonymous
with peace. This Summit could propose a concept of "universal religion"
or "non-sectarian spirituality", for endorsement by the UN...
I am sure that this Summit will help focus the world’s attention on
the true purpose of religion..."

The
Harmony Institute (theharmonyinstitute.org)
Born in 1992, The Harmony Institute explores and promotes the common
core teachings of all the religions. The Harmony Institute seeks to
attain these goals by conducting objective research, publishing books
and documents, and establishing educational programs that focus on the
similarities and common bonds between the world's religions. We believe
the world would be a more peaceful place if more people realized how
much the religions agree and share.

:: Unity At The Expense Of Truth
We have shown just a sample of these organizations and their agendas.
At a quick glance it may sound harmless ... even wonderful! Afterall, what
could be wrong with peace, harmony, unity, tolerance? In some cases -
nothing. But in this case it is a great example of "good words gone bad!"
Many of the well meaning people of the world want to put aside
their views on "god" for the sake of unity ... as if unity is a greater
prize than even salvation itself. What do they hope to gain by this quest?
A temporary, (false) peace now ... but what later ... what about eternity?
The problem this poses to any one who believes in the Bible is that;
Christianity - TRUE BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY - cancels out all other
"ways to heaven"!
The Bible clearly states there is only ONE WAY, ONE TRUTH, ONE LIFE and
that is found in Jesus Christ and Him alone!
"... I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the
Father, but by me." John 14:6 -
Jesus Christ
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other
name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and
this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath
not the Son of God hath not life." 1 John
5:11-12
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be
saved ... " Acts
16:31
"A conviction that there is a definite way to heaven is not tolerated
in this day of professed tolerance because it assumes that all roads
don't lead to the same place, that truth does exist, and
that there is a distinction between what is right and what is wrong.
Instead of such old-fashioned convictions, ecumenical broad-mindedness is
the new wave for the new millennium. We are expected to set aside the
rational necessity of being certain about our eternal destiny in favor of
a mindless tolerance that promises only to avoid religious arguments in
this life but offers no sensible assurance for the next." (An Urgent
Call to a Serious Faith, pg. 39 - Dave Hunt)
:: But Even Jesus Spoke Of Unity!
Yes! God wants us to be ONE with other true believers, but He
also says;
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what
fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion
hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or
what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath
the temple of God with idols? ....." Wherefore come out from among them,
and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I
will receive you..." 2 Corinthians
6:14-17 (KJV)
Far from condoning false doctrine and beliefs, the Bible instructs us
not to have ANYTHING to do with those who teach such things. We are warned
not to even bid them "God Speed" as it would make us a "partaker of his
evil deeds".
"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ,
hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the
Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this
doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For
he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds."2 John
1:9-11
Paul says if any man preach any other gospel unto you let him be
accursed. Wow! Paul wasn't very "tolerant" was he?
"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into
the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there
be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But
though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than
that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said
before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you
than that ye have received, let him be accursed." Galatians
1:6-9
This verse below is often misquoted... A careless reading of this
passage causes many to believe that when someone takes a stand for TRUTH,
they are "causing divisions" in the body of Christ. However, if you read
it more carefully ... you see that the divisions were caused by what was
"contrary to the doctrine" ... meaning "The False Teachings"!
"Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and
offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
" Romans
16:17
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but
rather reprove them. " Ephesians
5:11
The Bible predicted there would be those in the last days who would be
"..... having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from
such turn away." 2 Timothy
3:5
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having
itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and
shall be turned unto fables." 2 Timothy
4:3-4
:: The Tragedy of the ECT
Here is where things become really confusing ... deceptive ... and down
right dangerous!
Some Christians may acknowledge "Yes, the world seems to be heading
toward a global religion." They may also acknowledge that this was
prophesied.
YET some of those same well meaning Christians who are in many cases
very sincere loving individuals, also have allowed themselves to become
part of the very problem ... even a source of confusion to the unbelieving
world!
For a compromise that epitomizes this ... we need not look any further
than the ECT ACCORDS. (Evangelicals & Catholics
Together)
The ECT documents are deceitful at best, destructively heretical at
worst. The ECT documents have led multitudes of Christians to believe that
there is agreement between the Church of Rome, with its false gospel, and
the Gospel in which evangelicals have put their trust. The ECT documents
have introduced much confusion with regard to the simple Gospel message.
The ECT documents have done immeasurable harm by hindering the worldwide
proclamation of the gospel, especially for evangelical missionaries in
Catholic countries. And finally, foundationally, and most critically, the
ECT documents deny the biblical Gospel of salvation. (See: Signers of ECT
Accord Called to Repentence ... proclaiming the gospel ministries)
:: Overturning the Reformation
The most significant event in nearly 500 years of church history was
revealed as a fait accompli on March 29, 1994. On that day leading
American evangelicals and Catholics signed a joint declaration titled
"Evangelicals and Catholics Together: The Christian Mission in the 3rd
Millennium." The document in effect overturned the Reformation and will
unquestionably have far-reaching repercussions throughout the Christian
world for years to come.
This startling development was the culmination of careful planning and
negotiations over the previous two years. Each step was continuously
monitored and approved by the Vatican. The New York Times release
making the announcement, which was carried in newspapers across the
country on March 30, said in part:
They toiled together in the movements against abortion and
pornography, and now leading Catholics and evangelicals are asking their
flocks for a remarkable leap of faith: to finally accept each other as
Christians. In what's being called a historic declaration, evangelicals
including Pat Robertson and Charles Colson (one of the chief
originators) joined with conservative Roman Catholics leaders today in
upholding the ties of faith that bind the nation's largest and most
politically active religious groups. They urged Catholics and
evangelicals ... to stop aggressive proselytization of each other's
flocks. John White, president of Geneva College and former president
of the National Association of Evangelicals, said the statement represents
a "triumphalistic moment" in American religious life after centuries of
distrust ... Other evangelical endorsers include the heads of the Home
Mission Board and Christian Life Commission of the Southern Baptist
Convention (who acted in an independent capacity), the nation's largest
Protestant denomination, and Bill Bright, a founder of Campus Crusade for
Christ ... Mark Noll of Wheaton University ... [Os Guiness, Jesse Miranda
(Assemblies of God), Richard Mouw (President, Fuller Theological Seminary)
J.I. Packer and Herbert Schlossberg].
Robert Simonds, Southern California chairman of the National
Association of Evangelicals, "applauded the declaration" and said he hoped
it would bring "increased cooperation between evangelicals and Catholics
..." Other evangelicals have denounced it as a betrayal of the
Reformation. Ironically, this bold move to "unite Catholics and
evangelicals" will divide evangelicals as nothing else could - and as its
endorsers must have realized.
The 25-page document acknowledges, without compromise, some key
differences between Catholics and evangelicals (such as the significance
of baptism and the authority Scripture). Unfortunately, the most important
difference - what it means to be a Christian is not mentioned. In
fact, that such a difference even exists is denied. This compromise of the
gospel lies at the heart of the agreement.
The key element behind this historic joint declaration is the
previously unthinkable admission on the part of evangelicals that active
participation in the Catholic Church makes one a Christian. If that is
indeed the case, then the Reformation was a tragic mistake. The millions
who were martyred (during a thousand years before the Reformation and
since then to the present time) for rejecting Catholicism as a false
gospel have all died in vain. If, however, the Reformers were right, then
this new agreement between Catholics and evangelicals could well be the
cleverest and deadliest blow struck against the gospel in the entire
history of the church. Either way, the consequences are staggering....
(Dave Hunt, A Woman Rides the Beast - pgs 5-6) This book is
a MUST READ! http://www.tbcorders.org/default.asp
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"... Since the signing of the first agreement, the evangelical signers
have received a great deal of feedback, personally and publicly, feedback
critical to both the document and their support of it.
That criticism, much of it in the form of detailed analysis, has been
presented with the hope that these men would see the grievous error in
what they have done, that they would repent of their signing and reject
the document publicly.
None of us here in any sense is judging the heart or motivation of any
of the ECT signers. That is an issue between them and the Lord. Nor are we
questioning their salvation. However, our love for them and for the Body
of Christ compels us to call upon them to publicly renounce the ECT
accords and to ask the church at large for forgiveness for their past
participation in these accords. We do this in simple obedience to the
Scriptures.
We look to the example of Paul, who opposed Peter "to his face in the
presence of all" (Galatians
2:11-14).
He accused Peter of "hypocrisy" of not being "straightforward about the
truth of the Gospel." Paul writes that Peter " was to be blamed." We also
see that we are to rebuke them publicly "that others may also fear" (1 Timothy
5:20).
Paul wrote that those who stray from the truth in their teaching are to
be warned and rebuked so that they might repent and to "refute those who
contradict sound doctrine" (Titus
1:9-13)."

:: Who Are We Praying To???
Ironically many of the ECT endorsers, who might encourage the oneness
between Protestants & Catholics ... would never consider declaring any
such unity with a Witch Doctor, a Buddhist or a Muslim ... YET, as
the picture shows below, their #1 "partner in dialogue" is also the main
promoter of unity with ALL!
| SO ... if you are ONE with him,
and he is ONE with them
where does that leave you?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of John Paul II's most amazing feats was the gathering at Assisi,
Italy, in 1986 of 130 leaders of the world's 12 major religions to pray
for peace. Praying together were snake worshipers, fire worshipers,
spiritists, animists, North American witch doctors, Buddhists, Muslims,
and Hindus, as well as "Christians" and Catholics. The pope
declared that they were all "praying to the same God." On that
occasion the pope allowed his good friend the Dali Lama to replace the
cross with Buddha on the altar of St. Peter's Church in Assisi and for him
and his monks to perform their Buddhist worship there.
Inspired by the pope's example at Assisi, "Interfaith Councils" are
springing up across the United States, where Christians meet for prayer
and social action with the followers of all religions. The procedure at
one of the meetings was described by a participant:
Swami Bhaskarananda, a Hindu, chanted a prayer to God ... Ismail
Ahmed, A Moslem, recited a short prayer to God...as they stood in front
of an altar adorned with pictures of Sri Ramakrishna, Jesus Christ and
Buddha. Prayer has been uniting all religions worldwide, and even
under evangelical leadership. At the 1993 National Prayer Breakfast in
Washington D.C., Senator Kerry read John
3:1-21 (leaving out key verse 16), suggested that Christ was speaking
of "spiritual renewal" and that "in the spirit of Christ ... Hindu,
Buddhist, Muslim, Jew, Christian" were meeting together for that purpose.
God said, "If my people who are called by my name will
pray "I will hear from heaven ..." (2 Chronicles
7:14). It was not an invitation to the worshipers of Baal and
Ashtoreth and other gods to join with Israel in prayer. That would have
been an abomination! Yet today's evangelicals are joining a mixed
multitude to pray and to work for social justice and peace. (A Woman
Rides the Beast, Dave Hunt - Uniting Everyone in "Prayer" pg. 424-425)

ASSISI UPDATE: ... Since the original gathering in Assisi in
1986, there have been a few more ....
"The third inter-religious summit hosted by Pope Jean Paul II in
Assisi, 200 kilometers north of Rome. The first summit, which gathered
Christian and non-Christian leaders from all around the world, was in
1986. In 1993, Pope Jean Paul called together European religious leaders
in this city to pray for peace in the Balkans, torn by civil war...."
"...Leaders present included representatives of Oriental Orthodox
churches—Syrian, Armenian and Ethiopian.
Christian communions and organizations represented included the World
Council of Churches, by its general secretary, Konrad Raiser; the
Lutheran World Federation, by Ishmael Noko, its secretary general; the
World Alliance of Reformed Churches, with by secretary general, Setri
Nyomi; the Anglican communion—although Dr George Carey, the archbishop
of Canterbury, was not present; the World Methodist Council, by its
president, Sunday Mbang, and its general secretary, George Freeman; the
Baptist World Alliance, by its general secretary, Denton Lotz; as well
as the Disciples of Christ; the Mennonites; the Quakers; the Moravian
Church; Pentecostals; and the Salvation Army.
A dozen rabbis from throughout the world, and approximately thirty
dignitaries from the Middle East and elsewhere represented Islam, among
them the grand muftis of Bosnia and Bulgaria.
Also present were representatives of Buddhism, Shintoism, Tenrikyo
(from Japan), Confucianism, Jainism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrism and
of traditional African religions...."

:: The Queen of Hearts - A Unifying Factor?
It has become a growing consensuses that "MARY" just may be the final
piece of the puzzle to draw all these religions together under one
umbrella. "Mary" after all, is respected by everyone!
In 1997, Newsweek ran a cover story on the Virgin Mary. In the
article they write: "In many ways, the 20th century has belonged to Mary.
From almost every continent, visionaries have reported more than 400
'apparitions' of the Virgin - more than in the previous three centuries
combined.... Taken together, these visions point to what the Marian
Movement believes is a millennial 'Age of Mary.'
We might expect this phenomenon to occur in countries that are
predominately Catholic, but apparitions are being reported from Japan to
Africa, from Korea to Australia, from Iraq to Israel, from Egypt to Syria.
Whether looking deep within the former Soviet Union or among the peoples
of India, one thing is found in common - they are all allegedly being
visited by a woman who calls herself Mary, the Queen of Heaven, Our Lady.
Pope John Paul II believes that if victory comes to the Universal
Church it will be brought by Mary. In his book Crossing The
Threshold of Hope, he makes this revealing statement:
After my election as Pope, as I became more involved in the
problems of the Universal Church, I came to have a similar
conviction: On this universal level, if victory comes it will be
brought by Mary. Christ will conquer through her, because he wants
the Church's victories now and in the future to be linked to her.
The pope's devotion to Mary is renowed the world over. He frequently
visits apparition sites to pay homage and adore the Virgin. The pope has
even consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary twice during
his present pontificate in response to the requests made by Our Lady of
Fatima.
This Queen unquestionably has Ecumenical Appeal ... Almost all of the
apparitions have stated that Mary is going to usher in a new era of peace
and unity. Under her mantle all people will gather in peace and solve the
problems facing the world. Her emphasis on unity and ecumenism has
garnered attention from the media...
Wherever she appears, "the Blessed Mother" makes it clear that she has
come for ALL her children, not just Catholics!
:: How Well Do You Know Your Queen?
Do you know that the "QUEEN OF HEAVEN" is mentioned in the
Bible? Interestingly, LONG before Mary - the mother of Jesus - was
even born. (See: Jeremiah
chapter 7 and Jeremiah
chapter 44)
Do you know that the Bible warns that a woman, who is an
impostor, would call herself "Queen" and head the global counterfeit
church in the last days? (See: Revelation
chapter 17 and Revelation
18:7)
Do you know that this woman would also embody a great city set
on seven hills (See: Revelation
17:9 and Revelation
18)
Do you know that the Queen of Heaven is considered the Mother of
the Roman Catholic Church which has its headquarters (the Vatican)
situated on seven hills. As the Catholic Encyclopedia states, "It is
within the city of Rome, called the city of seven hills, that the entire
area of Vatican State proper is now confined."
Do you know that this female impostor will come in Christ's name
seducing His followers to commit idolatry (See: Revelation
2:20-22 and Revelation
17:4,5) The apparition of Mary encourages millions to bow down to her
statues and visit her shrines. Worldwide, she also stresses the importance
of worshiping the
Eucharist.
Do you know that this wicked woman will go out over the face of
the whole earth. She will be associated with a global curse. Her final
destination will be Babylon - in the land of Shinar. (See: Zechariah
5). Interestingly, the apparition of Mary claims that she will soon
travel through the entire world saving those who look to her.
Do you know that The Bible says a 'Lady of Kingdoms' will
deceive God's people. Ultimately, the Lord would expose her true identity
(See: Isaiah
chapter 47) It is provocative that an apparition of Mary entitled "The
Lady of Nations" has initiated Catholics to petition the pope to declare
her Co-Redemptrix. Nearly 7 million petitions have been sent to the pope
urging him to declare her Co-Redemptrix. (Visit: Lady of All Nations)

more of "Mary" in the days to come!

:: No Compromise!
The aforementioned Religious and Political Groups are seeking and
promoting a world of peace without the Prince of Peace! A world
where "any god will do" ... They do not believe truth can be defined as
absolute. They believe that truth is whatever you perceive it to be. Or
that each person is entitled to his or her own version of the
truth!
The fact that many people and religions are willing to dismiss
differences in their beliefs, or make compromises concerning those beliefs
for the sake of unity, only scream out to the world that what they claimed
they believed, they never really believed in the first place. (See Also:
Holy Compromise
Batman!)
We say it often, but it is urgent ... now more than ever - KNOW WHAT YOU BELIEVE AND
WHY!
The Bible clearly stands in direct opposition to the cry we are hearing
around the world right now that "All Roads Lead to God" ... As a
matter of fact the Bible is the very place that we see God lay out His
plan of salvation. In the Scripture, God the Father, shows us the ONLY
ROAD He has provided to Himself ... through the FINISHED WORK of His Son
Jesus. (See Also: Jesus Who?)
If there were other ways to reach God, attain forgiveness, salvation
and eternal life ... Why then, did Jesus die? Was it all in vain? (See
Also: Good People Don't Go To
Heaven! and got
Jesus?)
This verse below bares repeating as we tragically witness millions of
lost souls flock to the wide gate of their doom.
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is
the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in
thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth
unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew
7:13-14
If you happen to run into a Christian who doesn't want to stir up
trouble and just wants to get along ... then go and find another one ...
who, out of love and concern will warn you of a place of eternal torment
called hell, that will be filled with people who were willing to
compromise for the sake of unity.
:: And They Worshipped the Beast
The Bible prewarned us that the last days - before the return of Christ
- would be marked by Apostasy (even within the
professing church) and the rise of a One World Religion/Worship
System of the Antichrist. It is
undeniable that this Religion is developing before our very eyes!
After the Rapture of the
true believers, this world will enter into the foretold Tribulation period
... There will no longer be anything restraining this agenda. As a matter
of fact, the world - at that time - will welcome this with open arms!
Global Religion, Global Government ... A world without the intolerant,
narrow minded, Bible pushing Christians!
"These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto
the beast." Revelation
17:13
In Genesis Ch.
11 we see what happens when a world, tries to be "ONE" without
God!
The unity they crave ... they will have for a short time ... it will be
centered around the very worship of Antichrist.
"While the Greek prefix "anti" generally means "against" or "opposed
to," it can also mean "in the place of" or "a substitute for." The
Antichrist will embody both meanings ....He will cunningly misrepresent
Christ while pretending to be Christ. And by that deceit he will undermine
and pervert all that Christ truly is.
His "Christianity" then will be a counterfeit, "having a form of
godliness, but denying the power thereof" (2 Tm 3:5). Furthermore, the
Antichrist’s religion won’t just pop onto the scene the day he does.
Rather, he will fit into it, just as one slips into a tailor-made suit.
This theology was first presented in the Garden of Eden as a perversion of
God’s Word and has spread like a virus ever since. In fact, it began as a
dialogue ...
Satan started the process of conditioning humanity when he entered into
conversation with Eve, persuading her to turn from God’s truth to her own
subjective evaluation of what she felt He had said." ... (Evangelicals and
Catholics: Dialogue unto Death - T.A. McMahon)
"... And that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who
opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is
worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing
himself that he is God." 2
Thessalonians 2:3-4
"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast ...
And they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? ...
And ALL that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose
names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the
foundation of the world... If any man have an ear, let him hear."
Revelation
13:4-9
"Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto
heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. " Revelation
18:4-5
